Wellesley family donates $250,000 to Wellesley Township Recreation Centre project

The Wellesley Township Recreation Centre Capital Campaign has received a $250,000 donation from community members Jim and Suzanne Flynn.

The Centre Score Clock in the new arena will be named in recognition of the Flynn Family’s support.

The Flynns have lived in Wellesley for 14 years. “Backing school activities and teams are things we’ve always done on whatever scale we could afford,” said Jim Flynn.

“But more recently, we considered supporting a larger project, possibly in the communities where we worked.”
